Going Swimming

I want to believe there is nothing more to a text

but then I remember how deep the web can get / first a smile

from a shallow acquaintance / a simple search teaches you how

to make friends / before you know you’ve watched more videos

than you’ve blinked / the night becomes brighter / a dive you’re

not ready for makes you believe there is a loophole / your phone

vibrates so you remember to catch a breath / zoom and chat

rooms turn cells into pixels / waterproof is your weapon /

a porno teaches you rhythmic breathing / there’s going to be a

            gasp

           & nothing more
